Coil Heaters

Used where space is concerned, ability to form a variety of shapes as required by its many applications. Frequently though, coil heaters are configured as small diameter, high performance nozzle heaters that are fully annealed. Size from a high watt density at a low mass. Voltage range from 24V to240Vac. Temperature up to max. 750°C. Heaters are available with and without thermocouple. Main application in the plastics industry for the heating of nozzles and hotrunner systems. It also used as cartridge heaters where irregular size bores are found. A straight, round coil heater can snake through a sealing bar in packaging equipment installations.
